Nature Therapy
At Safe Haven Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy, we believe in the healing power of nature. Our nature therapy sessions are designed to help activate the 'rest and digest' parasympathetic nervous system, allowing you to relax and connect with the natural world. Sometimes talking therapies indoors can feel overwhelming and confining. For individuals with trauma, ADHD and autism eye contact can be difficult, walking and talking minimising this aspect of the counselling process. Taking the therapy outdoors allows you to focus better, connect with the environment, and can be a great way to learn to sit away from your constant intrusive thoughts and collect yourself when feeling under pressure and overwhelmed. Here at Safe Haven Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy, just 20 minutes from Worcester, we have access to stunning Worcestershire countryside right on our doorstep, making the transition from office to outdoors so easy to do.
